环保的口号我们呼吁了很多年，对环保知识的宣传力度也越来越大了，但是人们在日常生活中真正做到环保了吗？
其实我们稍微观察一下身边的情况就会发现。为了美化环境，路边、公交站、公园等等很多地方都安放了回收箱、垃圾桶。但人们手中的垃圾是否到了该去的地方？比如校园里的垃圾桶分为可回收垃圾和不可回收垃圾。同学们是怎样做的呢？我仔细观察了一下，大多数同学都直接将垃圾随便扔进一个垃圾桶里，并没有区分可回收和不可回收。校园是这样，社会公共场所回收箱的利用情况也不会更好吧？
环保带给我们的好处就不必反复谈了。但为什么许多人对于这个浅显易懂的道理却视而不见呢？
我进一步对校园里的同学进行了采访，为什么直接将垃圾扔进垃圾桶，而不去进行分类再投放呢？
第一类同学是意识问题，因为他们根本没有意识到可回收垃圾二次利用能够带给我们好处，也没有切身感受到资源稀缺和可贵。现在地球上的资源并不是取之不尽用之不竭的，很多东西我们如果反复利用，就会延长资源的使用时间。比如，平常我们用的纸张就是可回收垃圾，如果我们能把它们放到该放的地方去，我们就可以少砍两棵树。树木是很多小动物的家园，也是吸收二氧化碳，释放氧气的最佳选择，是我们人类生存的必要的条件。但是有一些人为了金钱去乱砍滥伐树木，造成了过度的水土流失，使大地的植被受到严重的破坏，绿洲和城市也荒漠化，我们人类的生存受到了威胁。就我们平时用的一次性筷子，每天都要耗费数十亩的森林，在那些人眼中，树木除了可以做家具和建筑材料外，似乎没有任何价值。难道还有人不懂树木对我们意味着什么吗?将废纸回收不仅保护了动物，还减少了污染。有时候就是我们一个小小的举动能使我们的生活环境更加美好。
第二类同学，他们并不是不想分类,而是不知道该如何分类。其实想得知有关垃圾如何分类的知识，完全可以通过网络调查和有关书籍、报纸获取知识。对此，我已经向学校提出了建议，希望可以多开设有关垃圾分类的讲座以及班会，还可以设计有关方面的展板，同时可以在垃圾桶上或垃圾桶旁贴上有关垃圾分类的小贴士。
在学校里存在的这些问题在社会上其实更严重。虽然在各方环境保护组织多年的宣传下,已经有少数人在进行垃圾分类,但是大多数人还是跟同学们一样，有着这样那样的问题，而现在我们能做的就是用自己正确的做法，去感染身边的每一个人。我们可以先从感染自己的家人开始，在家里设置两个垃圾筒，在日常生活中，从一点一滴做起，养成垃圾分类的好习惯。保护环境，我们不能只停留在口上，而要落实在行动中，才能真正改变我们的环境。
Action speaks louder than words
Dear teachers and my fellow students,
Good morning , everyone . I am Jia MuYan from ShunYi No.1 High School .My topic today is action speaks louder than words .
We have called on people to protect our environment for a couple of years .However , whether people have made it in our daily life is a question .
Nowadays , we can see dustbins here are there in our city , but do people put the garbage where they should be put ? Besides ,in our campus , there are recycling bins and non-recycling bins , but how do our students use them ?Therefore , I made a careful observation .I found that most of the students threw the garbage in the dustbins without sorting .It happened in our school , Let alone in the public places.
It is beneficial to be environmentally friendly , but why is it so difficult?
I did an interview in our school on why they can not sort the garbage successfully .
Some of the student s think they do not have the sense of trash sorting . They are not aware of the advantages of recycling . What is more, they do not see we are in great short of resources . In fact , a lot of items can be reused . For example , we can recycle paper , in this way ,less threes will be cut Trees absorb carbon dioxide and give out oxygen , without which our human beings are unable to live on the earth.
While some people cut a large amount of trees in order to make profits, which makes our environment seriously damaged . Besides, we can also refuse to use disposable chopsticks . From now on, let’s recycle paper and a small act makes a big difference .
Other students fail to sort the garbage because they don’t know how to do it. In fact, it is not difficult if you search for it on the Internet or some relative books. For this reason, I have suggested our school giving more lectures and class meetings on how to conduct trash sort. Meanwhile we will put up notices near the recycling and non-recycling bins.
Our school is a micro society. We can see the difficulties in our school .Maybe it is wore in the society. Although we have done a lot to develop an environmentally friendly society, there are more people who cannot follow it. Therefore, we should take the responsibility ourselves and develop a good habit with our family members. Protecting our environment, we should take immediate actions.
