荣幸之至，我能被邀请到这个神圣的舞台，用我的话语将我的思想带给更多的人听。听了各位同学的演讲，不论是同学们妙语连珠或铿锵有力的演讲，都令我感到更加荣幸与激动。毕竟知音难觅，还有什么比这更令人高兴的事呢。如此，我也献丑了，斗胆给大家讲讲我的环保故事。

    我在初赛的时候说了我和星星的故事，今天，我们来讲讲罗布泊的故事。我记得小学的时候有一篇课文叫：罗布泊消逝的仙湖。里面有对于罗布泊现在的状况描写：“罗布泊．一望无际的戈壁滩，没有一棵草，一条溪，夏季气温高达70℃。罗布泊，天空中不见一只鸟，没有任何飞禽敢于穿越。”可是他以前是什么样子呢？使罗布泊闻名世界的斯文·赫定，在他那部著名的《亚洲腹地探险8年》一书中写道：罗布泊使我惊讶，罗布泊像座仙湖，水面像镜子一样，在和煦的阳光下，我乘舟而行，如神仙一般。在船的不远处几只野鸭在湖面上玩耍，鱼鸥及其他小鸟欢娱地歌唱着……

    这是一幅多么美好的画面啊，可如今却成为了死亡之地，令人闻之哀叹，叹息他的陨落，叹息他的逝去。但  是事情不能就这样结束了，我要知道为什么。

    翻阅了各种资料，问题主要出在近30年时间里。塔里木河两岸人口激增，对于水的需求也急剧增加。几十年间塔里木河流域修筑水库130多座，任意掘堤修引水口138处，建抽水泵站400多处，有的泵站一天就要抽水1万立方米。盲目增加耕地用水、盲目修建水库截水、自目掘堤引水、盲目建泵站抽水，这“四盲”吸干了这片土地的血液，死神最终降临在这片美丽而不幸的土地上。

    反观我们现在，我们每一个人的知识都不匮乏，即使现在不知道，我们也有千万种方法来了解相关知识。(现场举两个例子)我们不再盲目了，我们有了丰富的知识，所以我们唯一要做的，就是将知识化为行动，让罗布泊的悲剧不再重演在这个美丽星球的任何一片土地上。

    我倡议：从今天起，知行合一守寸土，身体力行护家园！

  Good afternoon. I am Zhang Jingwen from BNDS, it is a great honor for me to be here with you, honored teachers and learned and intellectual friends. What I am going to focus on today is about environmental protecting. Hence, I would start with an example of Lop Nor. Lop Nor, nowadays is known as a massive desert. No plants, no life. However, ages ago, the Lop Nor is a Haven on earth, Sven Hedin, who established the international reputation of Lop Nor, Depict the Lop Nor as faery lake. He used eloquent language depicted Lop Nor is the Eden of lives.

  Then what happened to this significant place? What lead in the fading of this Haven? According to my investigation, it mainly results from the poor of intellect. People at that time had no idea how to protect and efficiently use this place, the gift of god, in a long term running. However, the falling of Lop Nor is just an alarm clock for humans, more and more crises are on their way.

  Do not worry though, we have abundant knowledge nowadays. Internet, and highly developed technology make learning so easy that everyone, everyone of us can make contribution towards the protection of earth.So that is the main reason I am here.
